Years ago I set about creating an artistic process that would bring sculpture and traditional painting together in ways no one had ever seen before. Today I am using my own techniques of sculpting acrylic molding paste and polymer clay to create three dimensional paintings on canvas that are unique in the world of art.
To view one of my paintings is a dramatic experience, highly tactile, blazing with color and fascinating texture. They have often been described by my viewers as "beautiful", but I would argue that it is a hard-won beauty, born out of a rawness of material and subject not easily tamed.
